Market Your Writing Seminar with Chuck Sambuchino

Trinity Writers' Workshop is looking forward to hosting the Market Your Writing Seminar on November 5, 2011 with Chuck Sambuchino. Chuck has long been a favorite speaker of Trinity Writers (a writing group that meets in Bedford, Texas) and we're delighted that he will be sharing with us his knowledge as both a writer and a Writers Digest editor. To learn more about Chuck you can read an interview with him  here.

If you want to learn more about getting your work published sign up for the seminar. Registration instructions here.

Be sure to stop by Chuck Sambuchino's blog. He has a wealth of information for the writer.

Christmas In the Fort Worth Stockyards

Christmas in the Stockyards was a great success. Over 80 children showed up to write letters to Santa. Volunteers from Trinity Writers' Workshop handed out booklets of children's Christmas stories and poems, together with candy canes.

Christmas in the Stockyards

Every December the Trinity Writers Workshop host a letter to Santa table at the Fort Worth Stockyards. The members of TWW help the children to write letters to Santa and we hand out books full of Christmas stories written by the members. None of the children asked for anything extravagant this year and I asked one young boy what he had written. He simply said "family friendliness." Another young girl wrote that she wanted her family to care about each other and then folded the page up, stuffed it in her pocket and left abruptly. While I hope that every child wakes up to a nice surprise on Christmas morning, I especially wish for both these children to have a day of family friendliness.
