Judy Gaman, while working at her husband's clinic, decided to write a book about longevity. While researching and interviewing, she came across a vibrant woman who dressed like a Hollywood actress of an earlier era and had the energy of someone several decades younger than her 100 years. And so began a friendship with Judy and Lucille. They spent countless Fridays eating lunch at expensive Dallas restaurants and enjoying life together. Lucille had so much wisdom to impart and so much joie de vivre that she drew people to her even throwing out the first pitch at a Texas Rangers baseball game.
