Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng is set in a Shaker Heights an upscale planned community in Cleveland.
Celeste Ng compares the families of Pearl Warren, whose single mother is renting a duplex in Shaker Heights, and their landlord, the Richardson Family, who live in the affluent area of Shaker Heights. The teenage years are difficult for the children in both families but when a family friend of the Richardsons attempt to adopt an abandoned American-Chinese baby, both families become involved and secrets from the past begin to surface.
The story is also a TV Mini Series of the same name.
