Beginning with a project for the Discovery Channel, Pat Brown, a criminal profiler, has researched what is referred to as History's Greatest Cold Case - The Murder of Cleopatra. For many reasons Ms.Brown believes the story is very different from the one told and retold of Cleopatra's suicide. She researched many tombs in Egypt, which seemed to have little room for more than a body and a few possessions - not the vast space depicted in paintings where the space was occupied with maid servants and furniture. She brings up many interesting points and gives some background into Cleopatra's life and ancestry.
The Reconstruction chapter at the end of the book, gives an account of how both Mark Antony and Cleopatra's deaths may have occurred.
