Darkest Fear by Harlan Coben

Harlan Coben is currently my favorite author and Darkest Fear was another great read.  Myron Bolitar, while struggling with his past and aging parents, takes us on a journey to look for a bone marrow donor. Myron has a dry sense of humor and tact is not his greatest asset, but he is a very likable character. Harlan Coben's story twists are always a surprise, but along with being a great story teller, his writing is flawless. I found myself marking some of my most favorite zingers, and subtle alluding to descriptions that were seamlessly added.

They were in Myron's office. The morning sun striped the floor with Venetian slits, two cutting across Esperenza's face. She didn't seem to mind. . .

A strange echo filled the room. The background noises faded away and there was just the two of them . . .

This is the third Harlan Coben book I have read and will be working down the list of his publications.
