It was in the 30s when we arrived at the start line this morning for the 5k Turkey Trot. The skies were clear and we began the race, along with 12,000 other people, at 8:10. It was impossible to run for more than a few steps as it was so crowded but we kept up a brisk pace. Nathan was pushed into some mud but apart from that we escaped with no mishaps and we all sailed through the finish line. No matter what we choose to do, any time spent with my two children is a blessing and makes me one happy mom.
