It has been a warm, and windy week-end so far. We took advantage of the nice weather and ventured out for a Fort Worth Museum tour. Starting at the The Modern we ate lunch overlooking the water. The picture was taken from the cafe. There are no areas which you may peruse without a ticket but the first Sunday of every month is free admission. Across the street is the The Kimbell Art Museum. There are permanent exhibits which may be viewed at no charge. For the exhibitions, the admission fee is half price all day on Tuesdays and on Fridays between 5:00 and 8:00. Next, we walked on to the Amon Carter Museum which has many western paintings, and bronzes. Admission is free for many of the exhibits. Currently, Challenging Vision by Barbara Crane, is on display until May 10. Her photography is creative and thought provoking. For added insight into Barbara Crane's work, join one of the docent tours when you visit the museum.
