Wishbones by Carolyn Haines

Carolyn Haines' Sarah Booth Delaney Mystery, Wishbones features a Southern actress who heads off to Hollywood with her faithful hound dog full of expectations. But when the rival for the star role is found dead near the home Sarah is renting she wonders if leaving Mississippi is was such a great idea.

Wishbones has a little of everything: Romance, mystery, great locations and colorful characters. There are a few ghostly appearances which I'm not overly fond of in a mystery novel, but otherwise is was a fun read.
