Herbal Wine Vinegar


Herbal Wine Vinegar makes a great Christmas or hostess gift.

1 cup white vinegar
½ cup dry red wine
1 teasp dried rosemary leaves
½ teasp garlic powder

Combine all the ingredients and leave overnight in the refrigerator. Strain the vinegar. Before pouring into a decorative bottle, slip a sprig of Rosemary in (optional). Use the vinegar on salad, pasta, or vegetables or may be substituted for plain vinegar in recipes. Store in the refrigerator.
