In Grandma's Attic by Arleta Richardson

Grandparent's Day falls the first Sunday after Labor Day in the U.S. and today is the perfect day for posting a review of In Grandma's Attic the first book in the series by Arleta Richardson. This is listed as a Christian book and many of the stories were previously published - Some featured in "Words of Cheer," Mennonite Publishing House.
These are stories that are reminiscent of the Little House on the Prairie books and tell us about Nellie the horse, a cow named Molly Blue and an Indian who visited them unexpectedly. The grandmother, as a young girl, often found herself in a predicament.

The cover looks invisting, just the sort of book I'd be interested in. We don't have Grandparents' Day over here, but as we copied you with Father's Day, I'm sure it won't be long before we follow. :0)

What a charming book. The cover is delightful. This sounds like the perfect book for any day.

I'll have to remember this series for Makyla. She's our little farm girl now and does like horses, though Kevin swears he's not buying her one. We'll see.
