Do You Know Your Friends?

I had a great Sunday afternoon, chatting with friends. It was supposed to be a swim party, but it rained.
Rain-Texas-July usually aren't words you hear in one sentence, but it rained on our party.
(Note this isn't the actual pool, but you get the idea).

Anyway, one of my friends, Bonnie Pemberton, lived in Los Angeles in the 80s (the same time that I lived there) and she shared with us that one of her old pictures (see below) was recently featured in Stigler Daze, an Oklahoma magazine.

Bonnie is as beautiful today as she was then.

Here are some of her accomplishments:
Cast as Maggie Armstrong in Crisis at Central High starring Joanne Woodward and also in many TV and radio commercials.
Inventor of Sticky Paws

Do any of you have friends, whom you've known for years and found out recently that they have accomplishments they hadn't shared before?

Always a surprise, makes you see them in a different light.

we did cover a lot of territory on Sunday and learned about different aspects of life. You yourself have certainly been enterprising and at quite a young age in England. The gathering offered a range of perspectives and that was fun.

That would be a lot of fun to reconnect with someone and find that their life took some unexpected turns that went very well for them.
