The Publishing Maze

I get asked many questions about how to publish and what options are available and so to answer the most basic questions, I've uploaded a book to Kindle A Quick Guide Through the Publishing Maze. It has an overview of the different publishing options, basic formatting instructions for self publishing on Kindle and with Createspace and some tips for choosing a print on demand publisher.
I'll be updating this as I get more questions, so feel free to let me know of any additions you would like added.

If you don't have a Kindle, you can use Kindle for PC to view books.

Thank you for checking out my blog, "Life as a Farmer." I left a comment on mine that said that was one of three blogs under travelsandlifelonglearning.blogspot.com.
The first is Is Your Bag Packed? / Do you Know? About writing e.g. Mentor at the Community College Writing Center, and activities for all ages. I will definitely check out your guide..
I published a children's/ young adults' story on www.Authorstand.com titled,"Riddle of the Great Seal" - intrigue and drama with a free download. It is the first in a series about a teenage girl and an eight-year old girl's adventures exploring caves on Mud Island during summer break. The teenager discovers a link to her family's history that goes back to England in the 1700s, and the young girl finds a friend...

This is one of many sites where a person can register and post stories, poetry, novels for free; judges and readers can comment and rate a large selection of stories and submissions in different genres.

If the ratings are high enough, you can charge for the download..

Hi Ann, thank you for dropping in on my Eavesdroppings blog, I've enjoyed looking around yours. My main one is where I tell my stories - www.lonicera53.blogspot.com. Please drop by sometime and be as critical as you like, I love writing enough to welcome criticism.
Thank you.
