Picking up another
Jan Karon Mitford novel is like visiting an old friend. All the usual characters wander in and out of Tim Kavanagh's life, each with problems to be solved. Still feeling the loss of shepherding the Mitford flock from the pulpit, he finds other occupations, filling in part time at a local book store, helping his adopted son's brother overcome his rage and questioning the town slogan "Does Mitford Take Care of its Own?" By his side is his loving wife, Cynthia who between writing and illustrating children's books, helps him overcome problems thrown his way.
