This year I had planned to buy an e-reader, but I'm still undecided on what to purchase. It does look like the I-Pad Mini or the Kindle Fire might be the best choices.

I did find this link for e-reader review.

Any suggestions? I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences.

I have the Kindle and the ipad, and the ipad is very much better. But I wish I had bought the ipad with a sim slot.

If I were getting one, I think the iPad mini or iPad would be my choice, but I'm an Apple girl. :) And I'm going to have to save my pennies for an e-reader for awhile! Let us know how you like your choice!

I bought an iPad mini this year and love it. I can read the .mobi files using the Kindle app, the .pdf files and .epub files using iBooks. It's the perfect size. I have no regrets.

I have both a Kindle and an iPad mini - have not used the Kindle since I got the iPad. It just works so much better. Most of the newer book actually have page numbers, so you can easily go back and find passages, plus if there are any graphics or photos, they are perfectly clear (not on the Kindle). I love the page turn feature on the iPad too - no pushing buttons, just flip it with your finger like you do a paper book.

I have an iPad and a kindle paper white. You cannot read outside with the iPad because of the glare. The kindle paperwhite is perfect. Great size to hold and in backlit so it is perfect for reading both in direct sunlight or low light.

I have an ipad which I was given by work to use for work so I also have a kindle which is for personal use. To buy I would probably get an ipad and have the Kindle app added to it. Love my kindle but I like to keep my work separate from my personal use such as my book lists.
