Fort Worth, Texas

Fort Worth continues to grow by leaps and bounds and even the Texas Tornado of 2000 did little to dampen spirits and probably added to the building boom after a large portion of Downtown Fort Worth was destroyed.
Images of tornado devastation.
The Bank One building, as it was called before the March 2000 tornado, took a big hit, but is now The Tower and was remodeled as a residential building.
A vision for the Trinity River followed the reconstruction of Fort Worth and it will eventually provide hiking trails, parks, river view housing, entertainment and wildlife areas.
It looks like it will be a great area for locals and visitors alike. Take a look at some of the plans here

Fort Worth knows how to get stuff done. Such a cool little city with a lot of variety.
