Secret Diaries of Charlotte Bronte by Syrie James

Syrie James, after researching Charlotte Bronte's life, has put together a novel in diary form. Her prose, like Ms. Bronte's, flows beautifully and shows the reader Ms. Bronte's most intimate thoughts and passions. Blending fact and fiction, the pages give us insight into what was important to Charlotte Bronte, her romances, upsets and struggles.

You can read a summary of the book here.
