The Christmas Angel

Each year, Trinity Writers' Workshop get together at the Stockyards in Fort Worth to help children write letters to Santa. Pictures from last year here. Leading up to the event we submit children's Christmas stories which are compiled into a booklet and given to the children after they write their letters.

Sharon Owen over at Simply Creating has featured my story for this year on her blog. Hop on over and take a look.

Thanks so much for your comment! As I'm sure your daughter knows, with twins it's such a week by week basis so it seems there are always milestones to hit. That's exciting for your family and I wish you all well!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog, Ann. I felt so encouraged when I surfed over to yours. Since I've moved from CT to GA, I've been w/out the support of other writers. Your "virtual" support was a nice surprise only made better by reading your story. I so admire a writer w/discipline enough to tell a good tale by making language sing. Words are just an instrument. It takes the artist to give them nuance, power & sweetness. So glad to have found you. Hope to happen by again soon.

Ann,
"I'm a terrible speller."
Saw you milling around over at Churlita's and thought I'd pop in to say Hi.
