Darkest Fear by Harlan Coben

Harlan Coben is currently my favorite author and Darkest Fear was another great read.  Myron Bolitar, while struggling with his past and aging parents, takes us on a journey to look for a bone marrow donor. Myron has a dry sense of humor and tact is not his greatest asset, but he is a very likable character. Harlan Coben's story twists are always a surprise, but along with being a great story teller, his writing is flawless. I found myself marking some of my most favorite zingers, and subtle alluding to descriptions that were seamlessly added.

They were in Myron's office. The morning sun striped the floor with Venetian slits, two cutting across Esperenza's face. She didn't seem to mind. . .

A strange echo filled the room. The background noises faded away and there was just the two of them . . .

This is the third Harlan Coben book I have read and will be working down the list of his publications.

You've reminded me that it's been too long since I read Harlan Coben. I have several of his earlier books and liked them all!

He is high on my list of favorite authors, too. You won't be disappointed in reading all of his books. I think my husband and I have managed to read most of them, but have not gotten this latest one yet.

I have this one waiting, guess I'll have to be moving it up the list.

Harlan Coben is terrific, so glad you featured him. I met when I was on a panel at Bouchercon in Baltimore a couple of years ago. He's very charming and his fans adore him.

I love the Myron Bolitar books. There will be a new one this spring. It's been quite a while since the last.

His books are always terrific, he has that "white knuckle" suspense thing, going, book after book.
