Christmas In the Fort Worth Stockyards

Christmas in the Stockyards was a great success. Over 80 children showed up to write letters to Santa. Volunteers from Trinity Writers' Workshop handed out booklets of children's Christmas stories and poems, together with candy canes.

Hi Ann! Thank you so much for visiting my blog recently. I lived in Dallas for ages and can you believe I never made it to the Stockyards? I do enjoy the Ft.Worth museums though - oh they have some wonderful ones!

Any event that promotes reading and writing for kids I think is just great. That looked like a lot of fun!
