Fort Worth Museum of Science and History

The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History has been newly renovated and we spent Saturday perusing the exhibits. The current exhibition is showing Leonardo Da Vinci, his paintings, inventions and manuscripts. Along with copies of his paintings are working exhibits showing how many of his inventions work. With only bulky materials available to him he invented many complicated contraptions with wheels and pulleys. It made us wonder what this brilliant man would have created with today's technology. While some friends watched the current viewing of Adrenaline Rush at the IMAX theater, I opted to wander around the exhibits. (I suffered from motion sickness while watching Avatar on the IMAX screen.) Once housed in its own building on Seventh Street, The Cattle Raisers Museum is now under the roof of the Fort Worth Science and History Museum. The Museum renovation was impressive and it was a nice escape from the current triple digit temperatures.
